In May of 2024, the Grand Duke Kenny Tran of Go Cong Province of the Nguyen Dynasty has announced that genealogical and historical evidence points to the fact that his family lineage and ancestors were foreigners who were made British Lords during the 4th through 5th Century A.D.. And thus he is now re-establishing a distant family branch that was historically and culturally known as the Aether Kingdom; now a government-in-exile under the Grand Duke of Go Cong, Kenny Tran.
Here is how the Grand Duke and the Aether Kingdom are related:
During the 5th until 6th century A.D. in Great Britain, there was a civil war between the 7 kingdoms of East Anglia, Essex, Kent, Mercia, Northumbria, Sussex, and Wessex known as the Heptarchy similar to Game of Thrones.
During that civil war, the House of Wessex in the Southernmost region of Britain hired overseas mercenaries and made them landowners and lords among the Jutes of Germany on the Island of Wight in exchange for military cooperation.

Later on, after the war ended, Æthelred II also known as Æthelred the Unready, became King of England coming from the House of Wessex and the southernmost kingdom of Wessex from the Heptarchy. It is he who was the one to proclaim that the mercenaries from overseas would be given title as Lords of England since the war was over by that point and he was the first Wessex King afterwards.
In 2016, there were 22 skeletal remains and bones found of Chinese peoples/individuals found in Great Britain. These Chinese skeletons were found in Southwark which is also located in the Kingdom of Wessex during the Heptarchy. When the skeletons were dated, the researchers found that the bones originated from the 4th century A.D. which was right before the Heptarchy.
It should be abundantly obvious that those Chinese were foreigners who arrived in Britain just in time for the start of the Dark Ages as they call it, and came there specifically to advance the agenda of the Chinese Empire (and maybe take land for themselves?) in the 7 kingdoms civil war.
In any case, those Chinese who were living in Great Britain must have been under the authority of the Jin Dynasty of China. Now the Grand Duke Kenny Tran’s lineage dates back to before the time of the Nguyen Dynasty all the way to the Zhao houses to the Yao clans and specifically, the Chen (The Southern Chen dynasty) AND the Jin dynasty through distant relatives in Korea, also colloquially known as the Eastern Day.
Thus it is more than accurate to call this annexation of land and title from the Kingdom of Britain, the Aether Kingdom, an unrecognized (but not illegitimate) branch family of House Wessex, and a government-in-exile since the citizenry come from the Heptarchy and civil war (when the land and titles were given away).
The Grand Duke intends to establish a royal court for the Aether Kingdom in the future.
